Conservation Area

Leese Hill Conservation is a registered charity and was established in 2020. During the many Covid lockdowns in years 2020/21 The Manor Golf Club had plenty of time to explore areas of their land which were not used for golf and had long been forgotten about, what they discovered was a natural habit

The area of land has been left in its natural state so that the local flora and fauna can still flourish. We hold a variety of classes in this area from photography, willowcraft, bushcraft and many more. It is also an excellent place to just sit relax and watch nature in its own habitat.

This is home to many different species of animal we have Red Kite, Otters, Herons, Egrets, Buzzards, Foxes, Hares and many, many more. The flora also flourishes with different types of grasses and flowers. The flora helps feed “The Manor Bees” which produce our very own “Forever Honey”

Visiting this area is permitted when attending one of our courses, please look at the “Whats on” page on the web site for courses coming up

Another great day at this lovely course, it is in excellent condition. The whole experience is very good, very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Food great and all at a reasonable price. A very good place for a golf society day. A big thank you to the bar staff for great service with a smile
